Questions

Asked often, answered honestly.

What are SESEL pieces made of?

Every piece is finished in 18k gold vermeil, polished and sealed. The finish is stated on your certificate card. If you need a particular metal for skin reasons, write to us before ordering.

How do I know mine is an original SESEL and not a copy?

Every original comes with a numbered certificate card in the box. Write that number into the Verify page and the register answers with the day your piece was made and its metal. A copy has no card and no number in the register.

Will it tarnish or turn my skin green?

Salt water and perfume shorten the life of any gold finish, so rinse your piece in fresh water after the beach and wipe it dry. Cared for like that, it will hold its shine for years.

Do you deliver? How long does it take?

Free delivery on Mahé, usually within two working days. Praslin and La Digue take one day more. International orders ship tracked and insured; Europe usually lands within two weeks. You can also collect from the atelier.

Which chain lengths do you offer?

45 cm and 60 cm gilded chains, plus a vegan leather necklace. Pick your option on the product page. If you are unsure, 45 cm sits at the collarbone on most people, 60 cm falls to the chest.

Can I return or exchange a piece?

Yes, within 14 days, unworn and with its certificate card. Exchanges are simplest. The full details are in our Shipping & Returns policy.

Where exactly are the pieces made?

In Seychelles, by SESEL, since 2016. That is the whole point. We are a registered Seychellois business, license 292728, and a member of ESA as a registered SMSE.
